California Photography site design

This project was a portfolio site for a photography agency in Southern California. This photography agency specializes in beautiful, ’30s-inspired black and white portraits. They wanted a site that would complement their photography style and replicate the feeling of a vintage photography set.

Because the agency is located in Southern California and its founders have New Mexico roots, they wanted the California and New Mexico flags incorporated into the logo design. The following is the logo I designed for California Zia Photography to both match the site and capture the founders’ heritage (with a fun, modern spin):

    I enjoy looking at your portfolio. You definitely have an eye for design. I was reading the last sentence on this page and I wasn’t sure if you misspelled the word founders. “capture the foudners’ heritage (with a fun, modern spin)”
